As an attorney, my role is to advise clients of their legal rights and obligations and to provide them with an honest assessment of their options moving forward. I have experience providing legal advice and counsel to a diverse set of clients on a variety of issues, including contract law, employment law, probate administration, and regulatory compliance. My work demands the zealous protection and pursuit of my clients’ interests within the bounds of the law.
I bring a unique perspective to Grinde & Dicke Law Firm, as I spent two years clerking for the Honorable Kathy M. Wallace in Olmsted County District Court and one year working alongside in-house counsel at Xcel Energy prior to joining the firm. These experiences provided me with valuable insight into the inner workings and decisions of Minnesota’s district courts, as well as a deeper understanding of how to analyze the merits of a potential claim while also considering relevant business considerations.
Prior to joining Grinde & Dicke Law Firm, I attended the University of St. Thomas School of Law where I graduated cum laude. I also attended college at Jacksonville State University in the State of Alabama where I graduated summa cum laude and was invited to join the Phi Beta Kappa honors society and Alpha Kappa Delta sociology honor society. I may be a transplant to Minnesota, but I’m happy to call the city of Rochester home.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two little boys, biking and hiking in Minnesota’s beautiful state parks and trails, and reading interesting stories about history, science, and design.
