My interest in practicing law comes from a desire to make a positive impact in people’s lives. I have experience providing legal advice and counsel to a diverse set of clients on a variety of issues, including contract law, employment law, probate law, and regulatory compliance. My work regularly involves resolving conflicting interests and objectives to protect my clients’ interests and minimize their risks.
I bring a unique perspective to Grinde & Dicke Law Firm, as I spent two years clerking for the Honorable Kathy M. Wallace in Olmsted County District Court and one year working alongside in-house counsel at Xcel Energy prior to joining the firm. These experiences provided me with an opportunity to develop a strong business acumen and obtain a valuable insight into the judicial system—both of which put me in an excellent position to obtain favorable results for my clients.
Prior to joining Grinde & Dicke Law Firm, I attended the University of St. Thomas School of Law where I graduated cum laude. I attended college at Jacksonville State University in the State of Alabama where I graduated summa cum laude and was invited to join the Phi Beta Kappa honors society and Alpha Kappa Delta sociology honor society. I may be a transplant to Minnesota, but I’m happy to call the city of Rochester home.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two little boys, biking and hiking in Minnesota’s beautiful state parks and trails, and reading intriguing stories about history, science, and design.
